As an integral part of the 43rd session of the World Heritage Committee, and in the framework of the UNESCO World Heritage Education Programme, the Ministry of the Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan will host the World Heritage Young Professionals Forum 2019 under the theme of ‘World Heritage: Local Insights for Global Challenges’. The overall aim of the Forum is to highlight the key opportunities and challenges of heritage management in the twenty-first century.

22/05/2019 - Gender Equality Policies in Research Institutions: Promoting transformative and sustainable changes (Brussels, Belgium)

The EQUAL-IST project will present its project results and tools, and gender experts, representatives of the European Commission and academia will discuss about gender equality in research, with a focus on ICT/IST.

The Conference is also an opportunity for participants to share experience and insights among relevant projects, and share success stories from across the EU, paving the way to enhance a gender equality agenda within national and European research and higher education policies.

The EU-funded ThermaSMART project will be sponsoring an international symposium in Dublin, Ireland, on 10–12 June 2019.

The IUTAM Symposium on “Computational modelling of instabilities and turbulence in separated two-phase flows” will bring together experts in two-phase flow modelling and simulation to map out future progress in the area. The need for such a meeting arises from the intrinsic complexities of two-phase flow, coupled with the advent of new and exciting avenues to model such flows with ever-increasing fidelity to basic physics.
