The European Veterinary Vaccinology Workshop co-organised by H2020 SAPHIR, H2020 Paragone and the UK Veterinary Vaccinology Network will be held on May 21-22.

This workshop targets young scientists: students, post docs, early career researchers and other members of the animal health profession.

In times of socio economic crisis, еuroscepticism, populism and growing nationalism, the role of youth workers and educators becomes more and more complex, but important in the same time.
People working directly with youngsters need to be high qualified and have a different range of competences - knowledge, skills and attitudes. Therefore, training possibilities are on high demand, especially to develop critical thinking on the concepts of politics, democracy and active citizenship and use this knowledge to empower young people and their active participation in their community.

This project aims to train youth workers and leaders that work with young people, how to encourage their respective beneficiaries to interact more by creating and sharing digital stories, online campaigns or learning about e-Activism.

Everyone has a story to tell, and those digital stories are always very powerful, since in many cases they highlight very important issues, such as violence, discrimination or a struggle to find one’s place in the society. They also break down barriers as in our experience a unifying cause or message can often overcome ethnic or society divisions.
