The project aims to reduce the number of people at risk of poverty and/or social exclusion in the EU. They want to address the problem of social exclusion effectively, understanding the factors that might cause it and propose solutions in this issue.
The project objectives are:
-Raise awareness about the importance of inclusion promoting the values of European citizenship and active participation
-Exchange best practices among youth workers from different countries, all of them with high rates of risk of poverty and social exclusion, and who face different realities about aspects and perceptions of marginalization and exclusion, ideas and values on youth work with and for young people with fewer opportunities
-Motivate and train young workers to fight and prevent social exclusion in their activities in the NGO to which they are linked, respecting the values and principles of European youth work for inclusion
-Transfer to the participants concrete tools, methodologies, knowledge about working with young people with fewer opportunities.
-Empower the understanding and use the Erasmus Plus program.
-Analyze social exclusion from the point of view of human rights.
