Application Architect / Designer (SOA, JEE) in Brussels, Belgium.

Responsibilities
- Architecture and design of information systems
- Review of the architecture of existing systems
- Design and development of component architecture and building blocks
- Analysis of the integration of different information systems
- Data analysis and data modelling
- Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
- Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers
- Production of software architecture documents
- Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
- Assistance in the testing, the technical documentation, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting.

Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of combined relevant University Studies and IT professional experience
- Minimum a total of 6 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: UML, SOA, JEE, web 2.0, a business process modelling tool, a DBMS or specific design or architectural tool.
- 2 years of experience in architecture and design of information systems, including experience in an Open Source project
- 2 years of experience in developing information systems
- 2 years of experience with UML or CASE tools
- Experience in Service Bus Architecture, JEE, relational databases and web technologies is mandatory. Experience with source code quality control is also needed
- Excellent command of English language (written and oral).
