Marine/ Safety Superintendent (Limassol)

MARLOW NAVIGATION CO. LTD is seeking to recruit Marine/ Safety Superintendent for their head offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Monitoring and controlling a proactive operation of the vessels and providing nautical and safety support and consultation. Proposing and implementing solutions to enhance safety onboard.
- Monitoring the vessels capability and performance in regards to Safe Navigation, Safety and Environmental Compliance
- Conducting regular visits onboard to perform ISM/ISPS/MLC internal audits as well as navigational audits and safety training.
- Monitoring the implementation onboard of applicable International, National and Flag state rules and regulations.
- Preparing the Ships and following up of PSC inspections, Flag inspections and Vetting.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Master Mariner’s License.
- Strong knowledge of International, National and Flag state rules and regulations.
- Very good organisation skills, mentoring and people skills.
- Previous Experience in a similar position in the Shipping Industry will be considered as an advantage.
- Certification in internal auditing (ISM, ISPS, MLC) incident investigation and risk management will be considered an advantage.
- Good command of the English language (pre-requisite).
