Training Course: "#nobully"
24-31 October 2023 | Szeged, Hungary
Cyberbullying is bullying with the use of digital technologies. It can take place on social media, messaging platforms, gaming platforms, and practically anywhere in the cyber world. Cyberbullying can be spreading lies about or posting embarrassing photos of somebody, sending hurtful messages, impersonating someone, and sending mean messages to others on their behalf.
We believe that youth organizations and youth workers should do something in order to educate responsible digital citizens who can act and react in the cyber world respecting the same rules that they also respect in real life.
In this project, we want to gather youth workers and their knowledge about cyberbullying and spread awareness of the negative impacts and dangers of the irresponsible use of digital devices and online platforms. We wish to work together on ways to reach out to young people and offer them digital education through non-formal methods and activities to teach them how to be responsible digital citizens and to recognize cyberbullying at its early stage.
The project’s target group is anyone currently involved in working with young people (in any format) or express serious commitment to get involved in the future; from Hungary, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Italy, Latvia, Greece, Spain, Portugal, and Poland.
