Study Visit: "Rethinking Autism: Revolutionising Youth Work for Neurodiverse Young People"

The study visit is dedicated to professionals working in the Youth sector who have a keen interest in applying a social model approach to enhance the experience of young people with autism within the youth work environment

The study visit is focused on supporting professionals in better understanding and enhancing the experiences of young people with autism within youth work environment.

The main goal is to investigate the effectiveness of the social model approach applied into activities designed with need of the mentioned group on mind, and delivered in an inclusive and non-biased way. Both formal and non-formal research methods will be used. An international angle of the visit will allow the participants to exchange their professional experience and gain new valuable knowledge and methods of work with the young people on the autism spectrum.
