The candidate will pursue research in the context of the nationally (RIF) funded project ASPERIUM, focusing on the development and application as well of computational methods and simulations for materials with energy applications.
In general, the successful candidate will be expected to:
Conduct research to further develop research skills and competencies, and publishing novel and significant results in selective peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
Contribute to all aspects of sponsored Research, Innovation and/or Development projects (including conducting research, co-authoring publications, implementing deliverables, reporting activities, dissemination activities, etc).
Contribute to new grant proposals preparation.
More specifically, the candidate is expected to be highly involved in the development and application as well of ab-initio and atomistic simulation methodologies for complex nanostructured materials.
