1. Logistics Manager (Samos, Greece).
Qualifications and experience:
Essential:
- Clean driving licence
- Prior experience in a logistics role in the NGO sector/in emergency response/humanitarian environments
- Proven experience in technical areas of logistics operations including procurement, transport/distribution, warehousing and stock management
- Ability to synthesize and analyse information, and make clear, informed decisions
- Ability to build relationships quickly with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
- Strong ability to organise a substantial workload comprised of complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities
- Cultural awareness, with strong written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills in English. Greek is a must.
Desirable:
- Technical experience/training in specific areas of logistics e.g. fleet mechanics, IT/communications networks
- Technical experience/knowledge in specific types of humanitarian intervention e.g. Health, WASH, Food Security
- Fluent in Arabic, Farsi is very desirable
- Any university degree in Logisitics/ Accounting/ Procurement.
2. Field Manager (This role will be based on Greece).
Qualifications and experience:
Essential:
- Significant management experience working in an emergency response contexts or fragile states
- Previous first phase emergency response experience is essential
- Education to MSc/MA/MEng level in a relevant subject or equivalent field experience
- Previous experience of managing a team
- Previous experience of project management and working with national partner organizations
- Security management experience in insecure environments
- Field level representation with key stakeholders and co-ordination with other NGOs/UN
- Demonstrable experience of M&E and beneficiary accountability
- Ability to write clear and well-argued assessment and project reports
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong influencing skills and experience in advocacy
- Politically and culturally sensitive with qualities of patience, tact and diplomacy
- A high level of written and spoken English
- The capacity and willingness to be extremely flexible and accommodating in difficult and sometimesinsecure working circumstances.
- Commitment to the aims and principles of SC . In particular, a good understanding of the SC mandate and child focus and an ability to ensure this continues to underpin our support.
Desirable:
- Greek and/or Arabic language knowledge.

3 Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergency (IYCF-E) Counsellor (Lesvos)
SCOPE OF ROLE:
- Nutrition manager
- Identification, assessment and referral
- Awareness-raising and counselling
- Set-up, maintenance and facilitation of activities in the mother-baby areas
- Recording and reporting
- Cultural mediation when planned and with prior notice to nutrition manager or camp coordinator.

4 Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergency (IYCF) Manager (Lesvos)
Essential:
- Qualified doctor, nurse, midwife or nutritionist with strong primary health care / community health care experience;
- Demonstrable commitment to promoting and supporting optimal breastfeeding and complementary feeding;
- Demonstrable management experience, including budget holding responsibility;
- Experience of designing and implementation programs (ideally nutrition-related), including monitoring and evaluation;
- Experience in conducting assessments and an understanding of nutritional data and information systems;
- Proven capacity to supervise, train and coach staff;
- Willingness and capacity to be flexible and accommodating when faced with difficult and frustrating working conditions;
- Prepared to live and work in an uncertain security environment;
- Ability and willingness to frequently travel and stay at the field;
- Demonstrable ability at report writing and excellent communication skills;
- Computer literate;
- Fluency in written and spoken English and local language: Arabic or Farsi.
Desired:
- Emergency programming experience;
- Qualification as a trainer of trainers in breastfeeding counseling.
- Familiarity with the Operational Guidance on IYCF-E and SPHERE standards.
