Kino Kabaret 2016 will take place from 8th - 12th August 2016 in Prizren and is part of Dokufest - International Documentary and Short Film Festival.
What is a Kino Kabaret?
It's an event of non-competitive collaborative filmmaking in which participants from all over come together and make films from scratch to screen in a very short period of time with no budget, but lots of passion. The participants in a Kabaret may have different backgrounds from professional to amateur, from directors, DoPs, actors & scriptwriters to sound & light technicians, musicians as well as simple film enthusiasts who want to help producing a film. The finished films are screened at the cinema. In our case the films will be screened in frame of Dokufest.
This year there will be only one (but long) Session of 5 days to make the films. During this session you make your film or help others make theirs. You create or join a crew. The screening will be at the Kino Kalaja (seen on the picture on the side of this registration form).
The participation fee is 50 €. With that you will be able to participate in the kabaret, you'll get accomodation and food, and you'll be able to enter other events at the festival such as film screenings, parties, exhibitions, etc.
Deadline: 15 July 2016 or when the number of participants is full.
