Oxfam seeks for:
- Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
Skills, Qualifications, Experience and Attitude Required:
- Masters in social science or relevant discipline
- Minimum of 3 years experience on Monitoring & Evaluation and strong affinity with humanitarian work (preferred experience in Humanitarian themes such as WASH and EFSVL)
- Well-developed conceptual, critical, analytical thinking and planning skills
- Good understanding country, humanitarian context in Greece
- Good critical thinking and clear understanding about a monitoring and evaluation framework, tools and indicator setting (familiarity with SPHERE standards recommended)
- Strong knowledge of IT applications and development – especially spreadsheets, database, familiarity with project cycle management, monitoring and evaluation
- Organised and able to manage own time under guidance and direction from line-manager.
- Strong interpersonal and self-awareness skills
- Ability and willingness to undertake travel in country
- Demonstrates ability to take initiative, drive to achieve results, ability to develop effective organizations
- Demonstrable understanding and experience of gender equity issues and their relevance to humanitarian response work
- Ability to work effectively with others, adaptable and flexible
- Fluency in English and Greek, both written and spoken, and good report-writing skills
