3 Postdoctoral Positions in Business Analytics, Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, Luxembourg (2016-2017)

The Luxembourg economy is strongly based on services, in particular on services based on IT. In this context, the "IT for Innovative Services" (ITIS) department at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) aims to bolster this domain through multi-disciplinary scientific and technological research leading to the development of innovative IT services.

In this context, ITIS department currently has three positions in the area of Business Analytics. In particular in the domains of:

- Business Analytics for Regulatory Compliance 

- Business Analytics for Wealth Management 

- Advanced Business Analytics Architecture

PROFILE

Education:
- PhD in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a relevant related area

Desired/qualifying competences :
- Information Systems. For example: Conceptual Modelling, Regulations Management, Business Rules, Knowledge Representation and Management, Semantics Models, Domain Ontologies.
- Business Analytics. For example: Natural Language Processing, Mathematical Foundations, Algorithms in Machine Learning, Text mining, Process mining
- Software engineering. For example: Knowledge on data-computing architecture and big data infrastructure, experience with open-source tools and vendor-based solutions such as Watson Analytics and Cognitive Analytics, HANA, Apama, and Actimize
