Description
The selected candidates will participate in the FFG Project (856080) "Advanced and Sustainable Sprayed Concrete” (ASSpC) aimed to develop and test durable and sustainable sprayed concretes in aggressive environmental conditions. The project is carried out in an interdisciplinary group with participating experts from the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg Lab for Construction Materials and Concrete Technology (www.oth-regensburg.de/en/faculties/civil-engineering.html) and the University of Innsbruck Institute for Material Technology (www.uibk.ac.at/mti/index.html) together with numerous key partners from the building materials and construction industry.
We are seeking highly motivated scientists with a strong interest in working in an applied and multidisciplinary research field. The desired Post-Doc applicants must have a PhD degree and a strong background in one of the following fields: geosciences, materials science, chemistry or civil engineering. Candidates with experience in experimental and/or geochemical and mineralogical analytical techniques are especially encouraged to apply. The scientific background required for the PhD candidates is equivalent to the Post-Docs.
