08-10/09/2016 - Inaugural Mediterranean Conference (Athens)

The International Center for Academic Integrity (ICAI) is bringing its first major European event to the Mediterranean region!

The conference, "Integrity as a Way Forward," will be hosted by DEREE - the American College of Greece in Athens, Greece during September 8-10, 2016.

The theme for this conference—Integrity as a Way Forward—resonates in Athens, as it does in many places around the globe, as we find ourselves in times of unprecedented socioeconomic trials that challenge our preconceptions, our values, and the way we see ourselves in relation to others. In such times, we face many difficult decisions, but one of the toughest is this: As the world changes around us, what is so essential that it must remain the same? One answer, we believe, is “integrity.”

Participants from around Europe the US, Canada, and beyond will come together to collaborate, discuss academic integrity - and integrity more generally - and network.
