The focus of our Research Training Group Immune Response in Infectious Diseases – Regulation between Innate and Adaptive Immunity lies on the interaction between innate and adaptive immunity in infectious diseases. Outstanding scientists offer a top-class education to excellent young academics from natural sciences and medicine.
We offer a three-year structured program consisting of lecture series, retreats, lab rotations, and methods courses etc. (mandatory). Our international cooperations provide the option to visit labs abroad, learn new methods and widen your professional network. Successful candidates will be awarded the PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) or MD/PhD degree. The program is taught in English.
