Computational biology group at BioMediTech, University of Tampere is recruiting new wet-lab experts to strengthen our ongoing brain tumor research. Projects include e.g. utilization and development of cell-free DNA measurements, characterization of molecular heterogeneity of brain tumors as well as functional validation of molecular mechanisms and genetic variants identified in our prior studies. Most of our research is based on the utilization of patient-derived tumor and blood material.
Requirements
We are looking for experienced and highly motivated researchers with strong skills in experimental techniques (cell culturing, DNA, RNA, and protein measurements) and standard validation assays (e.g. invasion, migration, survival and proliferation). Experience in primary cell cultures and high-throughput methods, especially deep sequencing library preparations, is appreciated. Primarily we are looking for candidates with a doctoral degree, but also candidates without a doctoral degree, but with strong qualifications are welcome to apply.
