Job Description:
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) is seeking Postdoctoral Research Associates to work in the areas of in hydro-climatology, surface water hydrology, climate science, and the evaluation of climate change impacts in the Northeast Climate Science Center and/or the CEE Department at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
The selected researcher(s) will join an active group of faculty, post-docs and graduate students engaged in research projects funded by the Department of Interior, NOAA, and the Nature Conservancy. He/she will be engaged in one or more areas, including the development of surface water hydrology models, assessments and interpretations of global and regional climate models applied to the Northeastern and Midwestern region of the US, engagement with natural resource stakeholders in defining climate-related research topics, and using structured decision making approaches to address climate change.
