Amsterdam Law Forum, the student-edited online journal of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam’s Law Faculty, is welcoming submissions for its upcoming issue from established scholars and young academics. The journal offers a meaningful platform for graduate students and young professionals to publish articles related to a broad range of international law fields. ALF is proud to publish contributions from wellknown experts and promising Ph.D. researchers from around the world.
ALF welcomes submissions of original scientific (legal) articles (10,000 – 15,000 words), (case) commentaries, book reviews and opinion articles;
The manuscripts should be focused on the field of public international law in general, and can include but are not restricted to issues concerning international criminal law, humanitarian and human rights law;
For a later edition, ALF is particularly interested in papers that explore the relationship between the environment and international criminal and/or humanitarian law – for this specific topic please check the Environment and International Law call for papers, also posted on the ALF website.
Please note that submissions must be in English (UK spelling), and submitted electronically through ALF’s official website after completing registration. Authors must also submit a bio-statement and the abstract of the article intended for publication.
