Funded by the Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior and the European Union’s Asylum-, Migration- and Integrationfund (AMIF), the Faculty of Business and Globalization at Danube University Krems is pleased to announce 3 newly funded PhD positions in Migration Studies. Candidates admitted to the PhD Program will have the title PhD Research Scholar. This PhD program is meant to enhance the existing efforts at Danube University Krems in fostering interdisciplinary research and new methodological approaches in migration studies. This task will be undertaken in the six departments of the Faculty of Business and Globalization, in close cooperation with experts from the government sector. Depending on the focus of the PhD topic, a combined supervision with other collaborating institutions is possible.
We are currently opening three PhD student positions to join our dynamic interdisciplinary research team at the Faculty of Business and Globalization at Danube University Krems. These positions provide young researchers with the unique opportunity to develop state-of-the art methodological competences. The PhD student will work with senior researchers in an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary environment, including various aspects of migration studies, informatics, economics and business studies, sustainability science, and public health. They are expected to participate in teaching as teaching assistants. These are 3-year, 30h/week positions.
