Lviv International MUN 2017 will take place in the heart of Western Ukraine, the city of Lviv, from 12 until the 15th of October 2017. The Secretariat is working very hard to create an incredible experience for students across the world, and we strongly believe that the conference will be the meeting point of both beginner and experienced delegates from all over the world.
The simulation will enable the participants to obtain a multilateral view on world affairs, enhance their conflict resolution capabilities and develop their communication skills through role-playing. Education is the most important aim of our Model and, as it is well known, people learn the most through informal education, team-building, and workshops, so being a MUN participant has many practical benefits.
During Lviv MUN the delegates we will simulate the work of the United Nations Organization on the example of four commitees: Security Council, Human Rights Council, Economic and Social Council and UNICEF.
Delegates don’t need to have experience in Model UN, or even the field of international relations. Students of all backgrounds and levels of experience are eligible to register for LvivMUN, so long as they have the ambition to learn something new and to meet other like-minded students from around the globe.
However, we invite you to check the level of experience each committee will require, and make your choice accordingly.
LvivMUN is suitable for students enrolled at higher education institutions, as well for those in their early career. The delegates have to be at least 17 years old to be able to participate.
