This training course is part of a long-term strategic project that started in 2016 initiated by SALTO -YOUTH EuroMed, SALTO-YOUTH Training and Cooperation Resource Centres and the Italian and German National Agencies for Erasmus+: Youth in Action.
Recognise it! Continue to develop strategies for recognition of youth work! aims to bring together representatives of National and International NGOs from Programme countries and South Mediterranean countries in order to develop strategies to foster recognition of youth work and non-formal learning at national and municipal level.
Tailor-made strategy building will be another important focus of the training course, which will include different aspects and needs relevant for participants and national groups (national delegations) taking into account the different socio-political realities within the participants' group.
With this training the organisers aim to co-create a space for honest debates about concepts, topics and issues related to recognition.
This training course is a starting point for new national strategies developments about the role of non-formal learning and youth work within EuroMed cooperation and will build on the 3-years’ experience of Youthpass in EuroMed youth programmes and critically reflect on future possibilities.
This project is financed by the Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs or SALTO Youth EuroMed involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country.
