Graduate PhD Scholarships in Sociology, University of Leicester, UK (2015-2016)

The Department of Sociology is offering a funded graduate research assistantship for September 2015 entry to its Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme. Graduate Research Assistantship is open for UK/EU and international applicants. The successful applicant will receive an annual stipend of £9,901 and salary of approximately £4,156.

Study Subject(s):
This Graduate Research Assistantship is open to applicants wishing to pursue doctoral research in any area of sociology that can be supervised by our academic staff. However, applicants with a research proposal in any of the following areas will also be considered: Advanced Research Methods (Conversation Analysis and Computer Simulation), Drugs and Society, Gender, Sexuality, and the Body, Language and Interaction, Social Theory, Racism, Ethnicity and Social Movements and Education Policy and Inequalities.
