"EU in a Crossroads: Challenges and Perspectives"

Invitation and Call for Papers

The Jean Monnet Chair of the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Macedonia for "New Dimensions in European Legal Studies", in collaboration with the Jean Monnet Chair of the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki for “European Constitutional Law and Culture”, with the support of the Lifelong Learning Programme 2007-2013 of the European Commission, organize a forum of discussion on the state of affairs and the vital issues of the European integration process.

In this forum, PhD researchers in European legal studies, who have already started their research at least one year ago, can present their PhD projects and discuss their research questions and methodologies with each other and with a panel of experienced researchers and practitioners. Young researchers who have finished their PhD no more than 2 years ago are also welcome. The event will especially seek to explore new and multidimensional prospects of the European integration and provide possible insight or solutions on cutting-edge research questions and controversies in EU Law.
