The BC3 Basque Centre for Climate Change offers the opportunity to act as host institution for beneficiaries of Marie Sklodowska-Curie individual fellowships (MSCA-IF), in any of the five research lines (RL) or cross cutting themes (CCT) of the centre:
- RL Climate basis
- RL Low Carbon
- RL Terrestrial Ecosystems
- RL Adaptation Lab
- RL Integrated modelling of coupled human-natural systems
- CCT Governance
- CCT Climate Change Policy
Experience/skills required: The applicants must fulfill the eligibility conditions for the MSCA-IF call. Additionally, they should have excellent interpersonal as well as communication skills, both written and oral, in English. The applicants should demonstrate evidence of a track record in peer-reviewed publications as well as ability to initiate and complete research characterized by originality, creativity and innovation.
Other experience/skills valued: Applicants will have a background in either physical or the social sciences but with a strong commitment to the study of climate change.
Location: BC3, Basque Centre for Climate Change, Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain.
Tenure: The position will initially be for the period covered by the MSCA fellowship, with the possibility for extending it further upon a positive assessment of the performance of the work carried out by the candidate during the fellowship.
Salary: The base salary will be the one established in the MSCA-IF rules, with full social security coverage following the Spanish legislation.
