The training will explore the concept of transformative learning and how volunteering can transform participants understanding of themseleves; their belief systems; and influence their behaviour/lifestyle choices. We will also explore how these connections can make an overall impact on the hosting and sending organisation and community. This training will look at these topics and identify how we can incorporate transformative learning into our own practice.

The overall objectives of this TCA are to: build a better understanding of transformative learning and how to use these skills when working with volunteers in the lifecycle of your project. We want to explore these benefits focusing on, personal development, youth mental health and wellbeing . This training will also look at different tools, methods and structures that we can implement within ESC projects to maximise the potential for transformational learning.

This project is financed by the participating NAs of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your NA to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.
