Feminism and Technoscience is the 3rd Biennial European Association for American Studies (EAAS) Women’s Network Symposium organized In collaboration with the Hellenic Association for American Studies (HELAAS) and the Department of American Literature, School of English, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
The conference will be helld on April 6, 2019, at Museum of Byzantine Culture Thessaloniki, Greece.
This symposium will emphasize the central role activism plays in raising awareness about the reciprocal influences that develop between feminism and technology. It will also facilitate the exchange and circulation of information with regard to the impact of technology on diverse groups of women within the context of American Studies.
Submissions are invited of individual abstracts, panels, and workshop/roundtable proposals that explore all aspects of this theme.
Deadline for proposal submission: December 31, 2018.
