Senior and Junior Data Scientist

The Center for Technology Research & Innovation (http://www.cetri.net/) seeks 2 engineers/scientists with background in Computer Science / Electr. Engineering or similar.

One senior and one junior position are offered.

Responsibility - Full accountability
• Analyze data + produce data-driven models
• Run reproducible experiments, test hypotheses and create presentations that explain the results
• Training, evaluating, tuning, monitoring and documenting machine learning and data mining models
• Design, develop and maintain SW involving various techniques such as machine learning, large-scale data mining, and predictive modeling
• Image processing

Requirements
• PhD. or M.Sc degree in Computer Science/Electr. Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Math or related field
• Hands-on experience in Python with evidence of solving problems using ML or DL techniques (2+ desirable).
• Experience with distributed machine learning frameworks, like Spark etc, will be a plus.
• Deep understanding of probability, statistics & machine learning theory and standard methodologies (for senior position)
• Passion for solving interesting/meaningful real-world problems using principled techniques.
• A team-player, good communication skills + analytical thinking.
• Good experience with: EU projects and with Matlab/Simulink is a plus, not a requirement.
