Senior Psychologist at International Rescue Committee Hellas (Chios)

International Rescue Committee Hellas is looking for a Senior Psychologist. 

 Job Requirements

• The qualified candidate must have an advanced degree (post-graduate) or higher in psychology with psychosocial programming experience of 3+ years in setting up, implementing, and supervising MHPSS programs
• Licensed Greek psychologist
• Minimum two year professional experience providing psychological interventions to refugee populations including but not limited to survivors of torture and/or sexual violenceKnowledge of and experience in using established inter-agency standards and guidelines in MHPSS, such as the IASC Guidelines on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Settings
• Previous experience supervising and managing a team in a cross-cultural setting
• Previous experience in managing MHPSS programs in emergency post-emergency context
• Experience in humanitarian emergencies
• Experience in supervising a team
• Comfortable with report writing
• Good computer skills such as: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Knowledge of different culturally relevant therapeutic techniques
• Experience conducting assessments, using screening tools and creating individual care plans for clients seeking mental health services
• Demonstrated understanding of and ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for beneficiaries
• Ability to conduct counselling sessions via interpreters/cultural mediators, whenever necessary
