The PhD is configured with a decidedly interdisciplinary guaranteed by the established interaction between the proponents of the course, the possibility of access to scientific instruments present in the laboratories, and the wealth of experience of the individual group coordinators. This feature enables the PhD fellows to deal with the scientific problem from a multidisciplinary perspective and complementary technologies, the knowledge of which allows the student to get hold of a large scientific and technical knowledge. The second feature is the creation of an international scientific environment, with the involvement of foreign teachers who ensure high-level scientific contributions and the opportunity for graduate students to remain six months abroad. The course offers specialized courses taught by foreign teachers of prestige in the areas of interest. In addition, seminars are provided by researchers involved in scientific collaborations with the doctorate.
