Plymouth University is offering three funded PhD studentships at the Centre for Robotics and Neural Systems starting from 1 October 2015. Applicants should have (at least) a first or upper second class honours degree in an appropriate subject and preferably a relevant MSc or MRes qualification. The studentship is supported for three years and includes full Home/EU tuition fees plus a stipend of £14,057 per annum.

Studentships are awarded in the area of research available at the Centre for Robotics and Neural Systems. The proposed three possible topics are as follows: Cooperative Control between Human and Robot (CCHR); Learning and Planning with Emergent Hierarchical Representations and Decaying Short-Term Memory and Contextual effects in human motor learning.
