URJC (Universidad Rey Juan Carlos) and Bitergia (a startup company),both in the Madrid (Spain) area, are recruiting PhD students interested in researching at an international level in one of the most active fields in software engineering: cloud computing. The selected persons will be hired for working towards their PhD thesis while collaborating in an international environment with participation of research institutions and companies. The contract will include stays in two European countries, and a competitive gross salary of around 27,000 euros/year plus some benefits such as a monthly mobility and family allowance (*). The research will be centered in real-world software development projects, with a clear industrial impact, such as OpenStack.
