PhD student at the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser of the FORTH

The Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL) of the Foundation for research and Technology Hellas (FORTH), in the framework of the project ULTRACHIRAL, (Call: H2020-FETOPEN-1-2016-2017, Proposal number: 737071) funded under H2020-E.U.1.2.1. – FET Open, is seeking to recruit one PhD student, for the development of fast data acquisition for cavity-enhanced chiral polarimetry measurements.

Required qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Physics or related discipline
- M.S. degree in Physics or related discipline
- Experience with laboratory optics
- Experience with fast data acquisition
- Experience with polarimetry
- Experience with laser spectroscopy
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Enrollment in a PhD program
