From this coming Fall, will start the European Master in Health and Physical Activity course (120 ECTS) a.y 2015-2016, a two-year program developed jointly with a number of European partner universities, with a joint recognition of credits and a joint title, a main goal of the Bologna Process.
This course, entirely in English, involves 3 alternative areas of specialisation – Children, Adults, Elderly -- each referring to both the general population and to special groups. The Faculty staff, numerous and diversified, includes some of the best European experts in the area.
First-year offerings in Rome are structured into four intensive teaching Modules of 15 ECTS each, over a 4-month time period:
1. Biomedical issues in Health and Exercise
2. Changing behaviour towards a lifelong active lifestyle: from childhood to adulthood.
3. Movement Therapy and Physical Activity for Elderly and Special Population
4. Research Methodology
The program may prove particularly appealing to students interested in Erasmus mobility, and if needed Bilateral Agreements can be revised or extended to that effect.
