Training Course: "Equal Means Equal"

They propose to empower youth to address gender equality issues such as sexist hate speech and other forms of violence and discrimination on women, by analyzing local realities, exchanging practices and developing activities to promote inclusive societies.
The objectives are:
- to explore and analyse existing gender equality issues in Europe and build a clear picture on the situation of gender stereotyping and sexism among youth and its consequences for the European societies;
- to develop at least 5 joined projects in the field of promoting gender equality and the empowerment of women among young people;
- to increase the competences of youth workers in the field of addressing gender imbalances in society;
- to co-design with the youth workers new tools to mobilise young people around to work for gender equality and violence prevention
- to develop the guidelines for youth organisations in the fields of gender mainstreaming and gender sensitive approaches in peace education (or projects)
