CING has been awarded a Horizon 2020 grant of ~2.5 million Euros for the establishment of the Bioinformatics ERA Chair at the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (BIORISE project, Grant Agreement Number: 669026). This will be the first Bioinformatics Chair to be developed in Cyprus. One of the objectives of the BIORISE project is to establish a core Bioinformatics Group at the CING, aiming at the increase and improvement of the research and innovation performance of the Institute as well as the education and training of the next generation of scientists.
THE POSITIONS
Tthe Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics is looking for four (4) Post-Doctoral Fellows for its newly established Bioinformatics Group. The successful candidates will be accountable to the Bioinformatics ERA Chair Holder (BECH) and will work in close collaboration with other CING staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidates will work on research projects, prepare research grants and contribute to the supervision and teaching at the Cyprus School of Molecular Medicine. The positions are for a period of 24 months with a possibility of extension for another 24 months based on performance/progress evaluation.
