In Europe at the moment we see the rising signs of intolerance, racism and discrimination in the society, and mainly in media. The need we perceive in young people we are working with is to counteract to the mainstream media which fuels the intolerance and fear and to provide them with tools how to use the power of storytelling and also help them to be able to handle all these negative effects mentioned.

Queer it Up! is a 5 days European multilateral training course for youth workers. This Training Course aims to explore Sexual Identity and Gender Expression/Identity for those unfamiliar with the LGBT+ collective. The TC will provide participants with the necessary competences to include Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and Expression perspectives in Youth Work Practice and to combat prejudice and discriminatory attitudes.

Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSI) for Student Leaders from Europe are intensive short term academic programs whose purpose is to provide groups of European undergraduate student leaders with a deeper understanding of the United States, while simultaneously enhancing their leadership skills. Each institute will have 20 student participants. The five-week Institutes will consist of a balanced series of seminar discussions, readings, group presentations, and lectures.

The Fulbright Foundation in Greece will award up to three grants (depending on available funding) to Greek secondary school educators, curriculum developers, teacher trainers or textbook writers to attend the 2018 Study of the United States Institutes. The Study of the United States Institute is a five-week academic program designed for secondary school educators involved in the teaching of English, as well as professionals in curriculum development, teacher training, or textbook writing.
