Leadership Fellows is the full tuition scholarship program at Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, Case Western Reserve University.
The Leadership Fellows Program at the Mandel School is designed for exceptionally qualified, highly-motivated candidates who are interested in leadership, best practice approaches to human service delivery and community practice, and making a positive influence in the world.
Case Western Reserve University is a private doctorate-granting university in Cleveland, Ohio. Founded in 1826, Western Reserve University and Case Institute of Technology formally federated in 1967.
Eligibility
Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline will be considered if they demonstrate the following:
- Superior undergraduate educational performance and a 3.2 grade-point average or higher (on a 4.0 scale);
- An exemplary record of previous school, community, or human services volunteer or work-related experience;
- Evidence of leadership capabilities as demonstrated by previous positions of leadership, letters of reference, and a personal statement in the program application.
Interest and capability to pursue a rigorous academic program, including additional program requirements.
Scholarship
It awards full-time, two-year students pursuing an on-campus Master of Science in Social Administration (MSSA) with full-tuition scholarships, plus USD 500 per year for participation in professional development activities (such as attending or presenting at conferences).
