The EU-funded EPIC project will be organising a workshop in London, United Kingdom, on 15-17 October, 2018.
Organised by the UK Space Agency on behalf of the EPIC project, the workshop will deliver critical updates to the status of the electric propulsion strategic research cluster, updates from the project itself, and important announcements from REA and the European Commission about funding.
The scope of the workshop also covers collection and assessment of the latest electric propulsion technology developments in Europe to update the EPIC Roadmap as necessary.
The programme is filled with high-quality talks from across the community, and roundtable sessions from last year will return in the form of two panel discussions.
The first focuses on electric propulsion systems for small spacecraft and satellites, while the second looks at qualification strategies for electric propulsion systems.
Additionally, Alan Bond, formerly of Reaction Engines and one of the godfathers of space propulsion technologies in the United Kingdom, will deliver a keynote talk.
